Sony has solved the standard flat screen audio issues with their KDL40EX620 model. we tend to bought another 40"" flat screen TV one or two of weeks ago and had to come back it owing to the terribly poor sound quality. when lots of web analysis I stumbled on this Sony model that indicated they'd improved the audio. They weren't exagerating! The sound quality is crisp, clear and nice in each manner. If you're buying a 40"" flat screen TV make sure and check this one out!

Picture quality is great, however I actually have had a number of problems with garbled/distorted sound & with sound and movie (lip movement and voice) not in sync. Sony BRAVIA KDL went on 2-3 times within the last month, and appears to solely happen when watching streaming video from the web. Cycling the facility resolves the problems. Hopefully Sony is functioning on a patch.....
Main reason for choosing this model was that it'd match into the house on the market.
