Had the TV delivered on 4/24/11. From an image perspective, this can be an honest TV.
Positives:
Good image improvement on the 2004 Sony Wega Plasma TV that it replaced. haven't however tried the 3D since this did not go with it.

Negatives:
The TV remote did not work in the slightest degree. i am currently having to form changes manually whereas I look forward to a replacement remote.
Have terribly low expectations that the remote can work since i attempted using my Harmony remote with identical problems.

Sony Support is extremely poor. Tried each Chat and decision with similar poor support. Expect to possess to request for In-House service to review. assume that the TV can have to be compelled to get replaced.

Equipment i am using with the TV:
Series three HD TIVO and a 2011 LG 3D Blu Ray sound system. Remote problems aside, works well with these and connect via HDMI.

Let me initiate by saying i am a giant Sony fan, which this can be my seventh Sony TV. I even have continually liked the image and quality of the Sony TV product. before getting this TV, the KDL-46NX810, I bought a KDL-40NX700 last summer, and that i love it!

Now for this TV....

The style is fantastic! The monolithic style (full glass panel) not solely protects the screen, however provides the set a stunning, sleek and clean look. The TV is incredibly skinny, and is an engineering marvel! Sony BRAVIA KDL TV was meant for my family area, however I set it up within the livingroom initial. It looked therefore smart there that I left it there. The stand is extremely skinny and unobtrusive, that could be a nice match for the monolithic screen style. Sony BRAVIA KDL TV simply oozes high tech surprise and amazement! that is not simply aptitude and drama; this issue extremely will look that smart.

The picture is extremely nice, however almost as nice as my NX700, the 40"" model that I additionally own.

I simply received the TV many days ago and have solely treats to mention. the image is sweet and seems uniform. My main concern concerning the TV was the audio quality. the skinny LED edge lit displays do not permit for abundant speaker house. we have a tendency to placed the TV in our den and didn't need to hook up a separate sound bar or stereo. I listened to an older version of an equivalent TV within the store and thought the audio quality was to a small degree higher than its competitors. The sound quality has a lot of bass and depth than i believed and is completely acceptable for casual TV/movie watching or running Pandora through the net applications.

The bezel is skinny and therefore the TV is completely inconspicous within the space. The TV is very low, very cheap of the screen is just concerning two.5-3"" from ground, compared to our different 46"" Samsung that sits concerning 6"" from the table surface.

I would definately suggest this TV, terribly glad.

I simply got one in all these yesterday...and all I will say is WOW! For nine years all I had was a 51"" Panasonic rear projection screen TV. Sony BRAVIA KDL blows it away with simply a customary dvd I played on it last night. and therefore the USB input makes viewing photos and videos off of flash drives or external exhausting drives simply awesome...

Going to hook up my new PS3 similarly and take a look at out some games and bluray stuff next.
